Our client is a leading online specialist with a dominant presence in Europe and Australia. This online retailer is focused and resolute on expanding, and are launching a sports offer.

We are seeking an experienced buyer who is a specialist in branded ladies sports products. You will be passionate about this lifestyle and have strong relationships with leading brands within the sector.

The role of Buyer will encompass -

• Setting OTB's for you / Junior Buyers
• Managing your own OTB
• Product Selection: inquiry and evaluation of product for your category
• Negotiation of Supplier rates
• Control of all purchasing-and-sales-related activities
• Run and research sell through reports
• Market monitoring and identifying new trends
• Planning and implementation of the assortment and price changes
• Preparation and development of merchandising materials
• Working with Marketing Team to develop promotional activities
• Interface between marketing, purchasing and logistics
• Lead, manage and mentor Trainee and Junior Buyers
• An experienced buyer in the Active lifestyle sector
• Have strong relationships with established brands (domestic & international)
• Excellent trend forecasting and research skills
• Ability to manage and train staff
• High motivation, independence and resilience
• Be able to handle the freedom of an entrepreneurial company
• Exposure to online buying would be highly advantageous
