Hays is recruiting a traffic manager for a government tourism department.
The main aim of this role is to manage the resources required to traffic workflow through the Marcomms and graphic design teams. This person will have to manage all the internal development and production milestones of all communication material generated from the Marcomms teams
The end goal is to ensure the work produced is of the highest possible standard within the parameters of time, quality and budget.
You will be required to attend internal briefings by Unit Managers, Marcoms project managers and pre-production meetings as required. You will then have to arrange and manage workload of all Creative and Studio staff (including freelancers) and juggle resources where required to ensure that work is completed on time and to high quality standards.
You will have to have great communications skills as you will have to proactively resolve any queries on a job so as to minimise time delays, unnecessary artwork amends and studio backlog. You will have to communicate regularly and effectively all deadline delays, progress and any other important information pertaining to the job back to the internal team
To apply for this role you need.
· A minimum of three years traffic experience in similar agency environments
· Ability to communicate effectively and manage people/resources
· Excellent understanding of the workflow of an ad agency
· Good mediator of the Marcomms process with Creative, Marketing, Content, Production etc
· Excellent diplomatic skills and the ability to deal confidently with people at all levels.
