Locations - Albury, Bathurst, Wagga

A Great opportunity for a Application Developer / Enterprise Solution Architect to work within the Integration/Application project team.

This is a long term contract with possible extensions available.

Responsibilities:-                                                                                                         

  • Designing and integrating applications into an enterprise application environment taking into consideration data and middleware
  • Ensure that all technical solutions designs conform to the architectural standards defined by the Enterprise Architecture team.
  • Develop relevant detailed technical solution designs
  • Document functional and non functional requirements
  • Participate in analysis of new business requirements and production of technical solution design documents.
  • Develop or modify system components as specified in the technical design.
  • Thoroughly test design components, their interfaces and sequencing.     
  • Provide a high level of expertise in technical guidance, training and work direction to team members, both permanent staff and contractors.            
  • Development and implementation of new systems and procedures for the continuous improvement of the department’s services 

Skills Required:-

  • Application development back ground with solid skills in designing and integrating applications
  • Extensive experience of application development using Java and Oracle
  • Extensive experience in the analysis and design or development of large and complex technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring to other technical staff.
  • Experience in enterprise Architecture
  • Experience with formal solution analysis, design, development, testing and or risk management methodologies;      
  • Project management and/or project team experience;
  • Experience dealing with consultants and outsourced projects
  • ITIL Foundation certificate and experience
